Dr. C. Warren Axelrod Presents at IEEE LISAT Conference

Dr. Axelrod presented his paper at the 2011 LISAT Conference at SUNY Farmingdale. His paper, “Applying Lessons from Safety-Critical Systems to Security-Critical Software”, was accepted by IEEE and is pending publication. He identifies the distinctions between safety vs. security and makes the vital connections between them which can be applied to critical software systems.

Dr. Axelrod is responsible for business development and marketing at Decilog. He holds a Ph.D. in managerial economics from Cornell University, an M.A. in economics and statistics and a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Glasgow. He is certified as a CISSP and CISM and is a member of IEEE, ACM, ISACA, and ISSA.
